Family of Tumbler Ridge Shooting Victim Sues OpenAI

The family of injured girl in a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge is suing OpenAI, who created the ChatGPT.According to the reports, OpenAI flagged the account of shooting suspect Jesse Van Rootselaar months back and did not report to the police. Now the lawsuit is based on that report as the shooter discusses the plan with ChatGpt. They claim that the company knew that the suspect was Jesse Van Rootselaar and never reported to the police which led to a tragic incident and killed 8 people including four students. A girl named Maya Gebala is getting treatment in Vancouver's children hospital, whose mother is suing OpenAI.
